Uncle Luke & marriage

Sorry for being out of pocket for a few days, Groomify readers - had some craziness in the last week (including getting a great photographer for our wedding - more on that later!), but we’re back in action…
Last week, I caught this item by John Sellers in Time Out New York about Luther Campbell - who some of you might know as Uncle Luke, among other names - getting engaged, and wanted to pass it along, as it’s definitely a pretty cool piece, and I know had gotten a few of my friends buzzing. Campbell, at least to me, is one of the main names I remember from being into rap and hip-hop during high school, in the early 90’s. I remember snagging my copy of 2 Live Crew’s “Banned in the USA” from a friend who worked in a local record store, and spending entirely too much time banging that, among other Crew jams, in a few of my friends’ rides on the way to and from school, and those were the days. In any case, a lot of people have made a big thing about Campbell getting engaged, and aside from the TONY piece, you’ve gotta check out AllHipHop’s video on the subject, with Campbell himself.
