  • Check out this extra awesome AT-AT cake from a Star Wars-themed wedding that Offbeat Bride mentioned while discussing the photographer, Justin Winokur. You can check out his Flickr feed here.
  • A great shot including some awesome clouds, from Chicagoland, surprisingly. [kateandersok]
  • Re-setting the bar for bachelor party craziness is this shot, where some dudes apparently have gotten at least one of them onto a tank for a bachelor party. What’s up with that. I want it. [samihonkonen]
  • Waterskiing can be fun. Or maybe not. [ltjbukem]
  • Apparently, your bachelor party is not welcome at this NYC establishment. [litherland]
  • This gives new meaning to the phrase “Rocky Mountain High,” now doesn’t it.

It’s another bachelor party fueled edition of Photo Frenzy, with all kinds of amusement…

  • This guy shows what might just happen to you when playing paintball on a bachelor party (or any other time, frankly). [jeffrod]
  • Is it, like, common for dudes to wear matching shirts on bachelor party gigs? [bradt.ca]
  • If brides are $1 million, and grooms are 50 cents, how much are the beers? [cherdt]
  • If you look really quickly, this looks like a really great time at a bachelor party at Hooters. If you keep staring, though, it turns out to not be what you think it is. Nice positioning, photographer guy! [bearsilber]
  • If one combined “Bee Movie” with bachelor parties, one might get this getup. [Matti Mattila]
  • If you live in Boston, these are apparently your party bus options from the Bustonian. It appears to be good enough for the Stanley Cup. Wetting your pants. I could go on. [The Bustonian]
  • Ooh, hadn’t thought of taking a zipline tour for part of a bachelor party. That’s interesting. [GKYC]

  • If you were to have a bachelor party in 1974 and been in ZBT, it might have looked like this. Shortly thereafter, you would have attended this wedding. [rickp1973]
  • Alright, it’s not a photo. But this short video of stitches needed during a bachelor party tell enough of a story, no? [dirtriderdan]
  • There’s no sleeping with Red Bull! [randyaa]

This episode contains some interesting inflatable animal action, some costumes, and a money-filled Flickr find.

  • Wow, I hadn’t thought sheep were part of bachelor parties anymore. [luketallguy]
  • Hey! Let go of my inflatable zebra! [markjsebastian2]
  • Does doing a keg-roll-walk qualify you for those Great Outdoor Games or what? [Andy & Jodi Z]
  • You, too, can have Maverick and Goose at your bachelor party! [bfmh3]
  • I dunno, I think I would have to rock the PBR belt buckle. Only $19.95 at Amazon, as it turns out! [ht3photo]
  • This may be my favorite Flickr find of all time (no, really). Check out a couple of photos that appear to be from someone who frequents strip clips - but from the other side of the stage. Exhibit A: $472 in cash and this take, from after a bachelor party. [Susan Always]

It’s the bachelor party edition!

  • Well now this is most certainly not politically correct, and is probably NSFW for a lot of you, and is probably offensive to just about all the women reading this, but what can you do. Check out what these guys asked for while driving to their camping destination, followed by their threat for noncompliance. Nice. [censey]
  • Who needs wine flights when you can take a beer tour? [anufoodie]
  • Make sure if you go go-karting on your bachelor party, you bring your juice boxes. [TimvdS]
  • Who doesn’t like some whore cake? [flight0001]
  • And what bachelor party would be complete without the bird? You know, the finger.

In today’s edition, we’ve got drinks, strippers, and hot cars. Enjoy!

  • Who needs a glass when you’ve got a bottle? [c0reyann]
  • Here’s a reason to not do the whole “stuff cake in one another’s mouth” thing at your reception, right? [emtboy9]
  • If she’s going to do a shot or two before the wedding, then that’s a tradition we should all get behind, no? [Documentally]
  • You know you want a Ferrari limo. I do. [AKM Limousines]
  • I can’t decide what’s more fun in this photo. The stripper - or the hairstyle - from 1992. [conrado4]

The latest Photo Frenzy features some awesome captions, awesome sneakers, and some cool gear.

  • Now that’s what I call a candid on your wedding day. Stopping at a 7-11. What’d you pick up, big boy? [Kristen M. H.]
  • OMG, is that a “HAMME(RED)” shirt I see? Yes, it is. NICE. [steve_and_jody]
  • I’m kinda liking the colored tie with this tux, howabout you? [emma_slipp]
  • The title says it all. It is, indeed, another use for that birdseed. [Van Liles]
  • And if you thought the last caption was good, you ain’t seen nothing yet. [carpe icthus]
  • If your new bride does keg stands - in her dress - what does that even mean? I’m confused. [wastedinthekeys]
  • Check out Chelsea the bride rocking Chuck Taylors! [Vision by Lisa]

Today’s photo frenzy features more hats, window paint, and even some cleavage.

  • You know those times when you started to write something on a window or big piece of paper, and run out of room? Wonder if this was one of those times. [disconotdisco]
  • Rocking the badass hats (that match, dammit) is one thing, but the feather opens up a whole new discussion. [saladito]
  • You’ve gotta keep the groom’s ring somewhere, right? [IsabelFields]
  • Here’s some proof that you can indeed rock black and red and get away with it. [Dusty Allen Smith]
  • KILLING IT on the steps, long coat, hat and all that. [terracooper]

Crazy in a wedding chapel

May 8, 2008

Check out the following video made up of time-lapse photographs at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, taken on 7-7-07. The Chapel, which does by the way have its own Webcam that can be utilized as part of a wedding package, crammed in some serious wedding action in that 24-hour period, but you only have to lose 00:01:38 of your life watching it.

Back when I was writing at AdJab, one of the more fun things we got to do was Flickr Fiend, which featured some of the more interesting, inane, and random photography from photo sharing site Flickr, focused on advertising and marketing imagery. As photography is a major part of any wedding event, and Flickr (among thousands of other places) contains tons of fantastic wedding photos, the concept seemed like a great addition to Groomify as well, so here goes the first edition of our Photo Frenzy.

  • Check out Erika’s awesome way to “focus” on the the initials of her husband, Gustavo, and her own
  • smoothdude shares a photo one couple used as a thank you card in Grand Army Plaza
  • Thomas Hawk snags a public wedding in progress from a particularly cool angle
  • It’s all about the evils when it comes to make506’s shot of bridesmaids
  • And you thought flower girls were only for the meatspace. Oh, no, says Rosa G. Photos
  • I’m not sure I’ve figured this one out just yet, but it appears to be a place setting, or something. Or, so says sxoidmal
  • For someone who says he doesn’t do weddings, this shot from James Watts certainly hit the mark, no?

If you see other shots that you think qualify for inclusion here, drop us a line, or if you have taken some yourself that you’d like to submit to the Groomify group on Flickr, then please do so and we’ll feature them here.
