But what about The Hanger Project
July 25, 2008
As I was perusing my RSS feeds tonight, I came across an ad for The Hanger Project, which is doing just that - offering great hangers. Their goal, much like what ours is supposed to be, is to keep your clothes in great shape while they’re getting their hang on in your closet.
Checking back, I see that Will from A Suitable Wardrobe wrote about THP way back in February, and I can’t believe it hasn’t gotten broader pickup, because it’s a great idea. As someone who has the privilege of dressing casually for work every day, I’m still rocking the suit from time to time and they spend a lot of time just hanging in my closet. I’ve been good to use some decently priced wood hangers (those metal ones from the cleaners kill me) for most of my dress gear, but these jobs might be worth checking out, especially if they’ll turn you from being just a clothes horse from one who has clothes that have been stomped on by a horse.
Check out The Hanger Project and spend a couple bucks - might be worth it for that $1,000 suit you just bought.
Is this taking a look too far?

My pal BW sent me this link earlier today, which points to an item in the New York Daily News about Sanna’s thong-jeans combo. Now most guys aren’t going to be the ones telling people to wear more clothes, but as StyleDash alludes to, doesn’t it kind of defeat the purpose if you’re getting this look ALL the time?
Supposedly, cardigans making it big in the UK
March 21, 2008
Earlier this month, Telegraph fashion director Hilary Alexander pointed to a trend currently taking place (supposedly) across the pond, that of guys wearing cardigans in droves. As much as I can see this being a possibility given the sweater’s consistent popularity, the cardigan’s been a bit too ridiculed a member of wardrobes, no?
Let’s hope that this “trend,” if it is one, doesn’t make its way over to the U.S., I must say.
